ESTA Safety Park Dragstrip has been providing an exciting and safe venue for New York speed demons under the sanctioning banner of the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) since 1960.

Eight classes of competition for racers of various skills and income, to compete for cash and trophy prizes, and points towards season championship titles.

Import Takeover Show & Go Scheduled for July 20

On Saturday, July 20 we will host the 1st Import Takeover Show & Go at ESTA Safety Park. The imports will take over and will have awards for Best in Show. We will also have awards for fastest Street tire ET & MPH for each brand. As well as a Quick 8 where the quickest 8, slick tire import cars to race off for cash prize. Any interested sponsors please contact the track we are looking to make this a annual event. Please Share and lets get the word out.

Mike LaRose Scores 2nd NHRA National Championship  

Las Vegas, NV - Twenty-two years after winning his first NHRA Pro National Championship win, Mike LaRose trekked the 3,000 miles west to Las Vegas and scored the NHRA/Summit Racing E.T. Series Pro Championship title. We will be working on an interview with Mike and return back with an appropriate summary of his amazing run so we can all share his victory.

2023 Pro Class Champions Crowned 

Saturday, November 25 we will crown the 2023 Champions of the Summit Racing E.T. Series.

In Super Pro, Matt Himes used a late season surge to overtake Scott Forbes who held the top spot for the entire season. Scott lead the division with 4 wins with Matt following up with 2.

The Top 5 in Super Pro and points: 1.) Matt Himes - 41, 2.) Scott Forbes - 38, 3.) Mike Thomas - 30, 4.) Tim Roberts - 29, 5.) Scott Beasaw Sr. - 27

In the Pro Division, Scott Beasaw Sr. scored the title on the strength of 4 class wins and a comfortable 9 point margin over A.J. Meier and Chris Corlyon who tied for second place. The Top 5 in Pro and points:

1.) Scott Beasaw Sr. - 45, 2.) A.J. Meier and Chris Corlyon - 34, 4.) Terry Lee - 33, 5.) Matt Consiglio - 30.

In Pro MX, both Bob Salerno and Ryan Orizino each scored 3 wins while Kevin Wuest nabbed 2 wins, but Kevin's consistency netted him yet another class championship title with a slim one point advantage over Bob Salerno. The Top 5 in Pro MX and points: 1.) Kevin Wuest - 39, 2.) Bob Salerno - 38, 3.) Ryan Orizino - 31, 4.) Brandon MacCombie - 30, 5.) Kevin Sutliffe - 28.

 

In Street Money, Steve English scored the 2023 championship title on the strength of 3 class wins and edged out Dave Tingley by a single point! Here are the Top 5 in Street Money: 1.) Steve English - 40, 2.) Dave Tingley - 39, 3.) Todd Minerd - 36, 4.) Pat Minogue - 28, 5.) John Goldman - 23.
