Media Training/Image Consulting/Coaching

As every successful person knows, inherent skills and personal drive are integral to outstanding performances. As every successful person understands, a mentor or coach will help accelerate that achievement.

As much as a coach’s expertise will help refine a golfer, gymnast or football player on their respective fields of play, so too will athletes, owners, managers, coaches, teams and sponsors alike benefit from a media coach steeped in the nuances of sports.

BurnsGroup Unlimited is headed by Barbara Burns, a 25-year sports veteran who has successfully helped organizations and athletes develop and deliver countless public relations strategies – from narrow messages to broad-based themes – on national and international sports stages.

BurnsGroup can not only deliver messages to audiences through the many methods at its disposal, but their coaching also will enable a team’s continued and consistent delivery.

An initial individual analysis will be completed to reveal the key areas on which to focus during the training sessions.

We will customize programs to fit each individuals needs. Training can be done in a group format or as an individual. Whether a novice looking to learn the ropes or a seasoned pro seeking an update on communication styles in today’s ever-changing media environment, we can assist. Contact us for a quote today! Client Testimonials

"After participating in the communication training with BurnsGroup, I  feel more confident speaking with team owners, sponsors and journalists. The training assisted me in areas that are important to my racing career separate from driving the car."
- Matt Varsha, sports car racing driver and winner of the Trois-Rivieres race in the Star Mazda Pro Series (August, 2006)

“The training that I did with Ms. Burns in her private tutoring has helped me in many different ways, from racing in Brazil, to earning a Skip Barber scholarship. Practicing different interview techniques has allowed me to be confident when responding to media questions. When I go to the track at a big race week end, I can talk to team owners and sponsors and actually be an educated speaker.” - Jordan Taylor, Skip Barber Karting Shootout $25,000 Scholarship Winner (January 2007)
