Jimmie Johnson Foundation - Chandra and I have been very blessed. We get to do what we enjoy in life, and that is something we don't take for granted. We have incredibly supportive friends and family, and we feel that I have the best fans in our sport. It is in that spirit of thankfulness that we launched the Jimmie Johnson Foundation in February 2006.

As we began to think about how we could give back, we found there are so many worthy causes. All of them are deserving of our time and effort, so concentrating on a few was a very tough decision. One thing that Chandra and I knew for sure was that we wanted to help families, particularly children. Our mission is to help those in need achieve their dreams. We are concentrating our initial fundraising efforts on a handful of projects, with the ultimate goal of raising as much money as possible to help all of the worthwhile charities of our choice.
