Mile High Motorsports of Wheatridge, CO has announced that it will compete full time in the 2007 Indy Pro Series (IPS) which is the premier ladder series for drivers, teams and sponsors striving to compete in the IndyCar Series and the Indy 500. The team is made up of individual’s years of experience in the open wheel racing community. The Indy Pro Series is unique because its schedule includes high-speed ovals in order to prepare drivers for tracks like Indianapolis Motor Speedway. At the Freedom 100, which is held on Memorial Day weekend with the Indy 500, the team will race at speeds in excess of 190 mph. The Indy Pro Series also races on the road course at IMS in conjunction with F1 and the US Grand Prix. It also supports all of the IRL IndyCar Series races including the road race at historic Watkins Glen. The series has a purse of $3 million and its races are televised to 88 million people on ESPN.
