U.S. Drift - was created by Chris Cobetto, a road racing champion and the Virginia/Mid-Atlantic Regional Director of the fastest growing motorsports organization in the United States, the National Auto Sport Association (NASA).
Chris saw the attraction to drifting and the potential for it to grow as a motorsport in the United States and thus, U.S.Drift was created in 2001.
U.S.Drift was the first national drifting organization and sanctioning body created to give drivers of all abilities and backgrounds the opportunity to learn and competitively progress in the sport of drifting.
U.S.Drift is the only American drifting series to hold every competition on designated racetracks since it's first event in 2002.
Since 2003, U.S.Drift has progressively created regional chapters across the country in an effort to make safe and legal drifting accessible for all enthusiasts.
